I am UNIQUE, INIQUE
INIQUE Nose Revision Surgery
We improve the shape and functions of the nose
with a solution tailored to the type of problem.
LINE UniqueINIQUE
We identify and improve the
problems of first surgery.
Revision surgery of the nose requires accurate diagnosis of visible problems as well as functional problems.
INIQUE identifies anatomical problems of the nose and establishes a surgical plan through 3D-CT examinations.

Nose Revision Surgery Solution
by Type of Side Effects
INIQUE Solution 01
We perform correction with solutions tailored to each problem found through 3D-CT examinations.
-
CASE01
If the nose bridge looks crooked
If the prosthesis is bent to one side or does not match with the shape of the bridge, the nose may look crooked.
SOLUTION
Create a space for the prosthesis to go in again and let the prosthesis settle precisely. If the nasal bone is naturally crooked, undergo crooked nose surgery for correction.
-
CASE02
If the nose tip is flat
If the nose tip is not properly supported or the height of the nose tip may becomes flat time over time.
SOLUTION
Reinforce the support for the nose tip and implant a tailored prosthesis to elongate the tip.
-
CASE03
If the prosthesis is visible on the bridge
This occurs when the skin of the nose is thin or a thick prosthesis is used.
SOLUTION
Adjust the size of the prosthesis and replace it, or cover the surrounding of the prosthesis with a fat graft or autologous fascia.
-
CASE04
If the nose is high or low
When the unfitting prosthesis is used without considering harmony with the face.
SOLUTION
Remove the existing prosthesis and insert a prosthesis of a size that fits the individual’s face ratio within the natural range.
-
CASE05
If the nostrils are asymmetrical
This problem may occur if the first surgery was performed with a weakened cartilage at the nose tip or if cartilage repositioning and implant are not performed properly.
SOLUTION
Reposition the cartilage properly and reinforce the nose tip cartilage after thoroughly reviewing the photo.
-
CASE06
If the nose tip is deformed due to the prosthesis
This deformation occurs when the prosthesis is implanted deeply up to the nose tip and continuously irritates the skin or cartilage.
SOLUTION
Remove the prosthesis from the tip and reconstruct the deformed cartilage. Shape the nose tip naturally using autologous tissue like cartilage and dermis.
-
CASE07
If the nose is upturned due to skin contracture
It occurs if inflammation breaks out after surgery or the epithelium around the prosthesis and the scar tissue inside the nose are adhered due to repeated revision surgery. The nose is hardened and shortened, resulting in an upturned nose.
SOLUTION
Loosen the part adhered with scar tissue and extend the skin downward sufficiently to reposition and correct the nose tip cartilage.
-
CASE08
If the prosthesis is moving
If the prosthesis is placed under the skin instead of between the bone and the periosteum, the prosthesis can move.
SOLUTION
Insert the prosthesis precisely under the periosteum for correction.
INIQUE Solution 02
INIQUE broadens the range of choice
of materials to create a natural line.
-
Ear cartilage
Excellent material for designing a natural nose tip. Has good tissue affinity and elasticity, and can be easily collected.
-
Septal cartilage
A material with very good bearing power and is suitable for supporting the nose bridge and the nose tip, or extending the nose length.
-
Rib cartilage
Cartilage from both ends of the ribs can be collected in a large amount. Used when cartilage is running short after repeated surgeries or to make a natural shape.
-
PCK MESH prosthesis
An FDA-approved polymer material implemented with 3D printing. Has outstanding biocompatibility and biodegradability, and creates a flexible and natural nose tip.
